    TERMS AND CONDITIONS

    1. The Promotional Competition
      • The name of the Promotional Competition is Mentos OK Foods “Stand a chance to win a R500 OK Voucher in store” Competition 2026 (hereinafter the “Competition”)
      • The following terms and conditions apply exclusively to this Competition. Participation in the Competition constitutes the Participant’s acceptance of these terms and conditions.
         
    1. The Promoter
      • The Promoter is Clippa Sales (hereinafter the “Promoter”), is a distributor for Perfetti Van Melle South Africa and is based at 21 R25 Kempton Park 1619, South Africa.

    2. The Competition Period & Participating stores
      • This competition will be for the following entry period:
        • This Competition begins on 15 June 2026 at 00:01am and ends on 31 July 2026 at 11:59pm (“Competition Period”)
        • No entries outside of the Competition Period will be accepted.
      • This competition will be offered to all participating OK stores in Gauteng, Mpumalanga & Limpopo (hereinafter referred to as the “participating stores”)

    1. The Prize/s
      • 1 (ONE) x R500 (Five Hundred Rand) voucher to be won in each participating store

    2. How to enter the Competition
      • Purchase any ONE or more of the participating product/s, in a single valid transaction at the “participating stores” during the competition period/s.
      • Participating Products are as follows and subject to stock and availability:

      • How to Enter:  participants must scan the QR code on promotional material and follow the prompts to complete their entry online before midnight on 31 July 2026.
      • Each valid entry submitted within the competition period will count as one entry into the draw.
      • Each valid and unique entry via the online platform (www.) will qualify as 1 (ONE) chance to enter the competition.  Participants are prohibited from using the same till slip multiple times on the QR platform to stand a chance to enter.
      • It is recommended to take a photo of your Tillslip/s to have proof of purchase and entry validation upon request to validate the purchase from the participating store.
      • Participants must provide correct and accurate contact details.
      • Entries, which are including but not limited, to be deemed fraudulent, unclear, illegible, or submitted via an incorrect entry mechanism or contain errors will be declared invalid.

    1. Participants in the Competition
      • The Competition is open to all South African citizens and permanent residents who are in possession and able to present original, valid and lawful proof of identification, lawful residency permits and proof of current address and, who are 18 (EIGHTEEN) years or older.
      • This competition is not open to any minor, a director, member, partner, employee, or agent of, or consultant to the OK GROUP, nor any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by, the Promoter, or a supplier of goods or services in connection with that competition.
      • This competition is not open to any juristic entities.
      • The Competition is valid within the Republic of South Africa. The Prize will only be awarded and delivered within South Africa. The Winner will be required to collect the Prize in person at the participating store where the Competition took place. The Promoter will not deliver or transfer the Prize outside South Africa. Should the Winner fail to collect the Prize in person within 14 (FOURTEEN) working days of notification, the Prize may be forfeited and an alternative Winner may be selected
      • By entering the Competition, Participants acknowledge that the Competition will be managed in accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act. Participants agree to do everything possible as may be reasonably requested by the Promoter and in accordance with the rules of this competition to meet its obligations as required by any applicable South African law.
      • All personal information provided by Participants will be processed in accordance with South African data protection legislation and in accordance with the Promoter’s Principal, Perfetti van Melle, privacy policy which may be viewed on its official website or as per this link https://www.perfettivanmelle.com/services/privacy-cookies/
      • By entering this Promotional Competition, each Participant hereby consents to the Processing of their Personal Information for the purposes of this Promotional Competition. Participants agree to hold the Promoter, its agents and suppliers harmless from any unintended disclosures of such information to unauthorised parties.
      • Participants acknowledge that any information supplied to Promoter, its agents and suppliers in terms of these Terms and Conditions is provided voluntarily and with the necessary consent.
      • Nothing in these Rules is intended to, or must be understood to, unlawfully restrict, limit or avoid any rights or obligations, as the case may be, created for either the Participant or the Promoters in terms of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (the “Act”), and including applicable data privacy laws.
      • Participants accept that the Promoter or its suppliers, agents who in some instances may be located outside the Republic of South Africa, may collect or process Personal Information of Participants.
      • It is the Participant’s responsibility to provide accurate and valid information.
      • Participants in this competition will have the opportunity to opt in and consent to receive future marketing material from the Promoter and participating brand/s. However, the Participant has the right to opt out at any time after opting in of receiving future marketing materials by submitting a written request to the Promoter at https://www.mentos.co.za/contact-us.
    1. Selection of winners and notification
      • Participants may enter multiple times during the entire competition period subject to each entry being linked to a new separate valid and unique purchase till slip
      • Participants will only be eligible to win once during the entire Competition Period.
      • A Participant who has previously won a prize in any competition run by the Promoter in the last 3 (THREE) months shall not be eligible to win a prize in this competition.
      • Finalists will be drawn from a random audited draw. Finalists will be selected randomly from all eligible entries received during the Competition Period and will be subject to verification to be declared a final winner.
      • The prize draw will take place as soon as possible after the close of the competition period/s.
      • Finalists will be informed telephonically either directly by the Promoter or its authorised agents within 14 (FOURTEEN) working days after his/her name has been drawn, that he/she has won the prize, subject to verification and being declared a final winner.  Should there be no successful contact with the selected finalists over the 3 (THREE) day period, the Promoter reserves its right to proceed and select new backup finalists.

    1. Delivery/collection of the prize/s
      • The prize will be handed over in the participating store to the declared winner, subject to successful verification as per the rules set out herein. Delivery shall occur within 12 (TWELVE) weeks following the successful verification and declaration of the winner(s). Any delay in delivery shall be communicated to the winner(s) to facilitate appropriate arrangements.
      • An eligible winner will be required to provide proof of purchase, valid proof of identification, their full name, contact number, physical delivery address and banking details, as well as any other information that may be required for the Promoter to facilitate the awarding and delivery of the prize.
      • Prizes are not transferable, and no substitution or cash redemption of prizes is permitted. The prize will not be handed/awarded to a third party, but only to the verified prize winner in accordance with the rules as set out herein.
      • Should a winner be unable to accept a prize for whatsoever reason, the Promoter reserves it right to select another finalist, subject to successful verification.
      • All risk of the prizes shall pass to the winner/s on delivery.
      • The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute the prize with any other prize of comparable commercial value for whatsoever reason.
      • Any expenses incurred by winner/s, other than the items listed in the prize will be for the winner/s own account.
      • The Promoter does not warrant that any prize will be free from defects. the Promoter and/or its directors, members, partners and employees shall not be liable in any way whatsoever for any loss, damage or costs, howsoever arising, suffered by a winner of any of the prizes and/or its use and/or in participating in this promotional competition.
      • The cost of presenting proof of purchase and entering the promotion, as well as any network charges that apply, will be borne by the Participants in accordance with the tariff rates set by the Participants’ mobile network provider/s.
    2. General
      • Artwork and prize visuals on any competition and/or promotional materials are for illustrative purposes only.
      • All entrants to this promotional competition participate entirely at their own risk. The Promoter, it agents and suppliers shall not be liable for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, consequential, or otherwise, arising from any cause whatsoever, which may be suffered by the entrants in connection with this competition or the use of the prizes.
      • Any violation or attempt to violate any of the competition rules will result in the immediate disqualification of the transgressor
      • The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any participant who enters including but not limited to using false information by robotic, automated or like means.
      • The Promoter, its agents and suppliers are not liable for including but not solely limited to any technical failures affecting the participation and/or prize redemption process of the Competition and responsibility is not accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed as a result of including but not solely limited to any network, computer or cell phone hardware or software failure of any kind. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
      • The Promoters may require the Winner/s to be identified, photographed, and published in printed media, social media, social digital media channels, or to appear on radio and/or television, without any payment or other remuneration when accepting the Prize. The Winner/s will be given the opportunity to decline to the publication of their image and to participate in the Promoters’ marketing materials in so far as it relates to the Competition.
      • The Promoter reserve the right at any time, without notice, to amend, modify, or change these rules and any prizes, and to postpone, suspend or cancel this Competition and any prizes, or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason which the Promoter may reasonably deem necessary and all entrants agree to waive any rights that they may have in terms of this competition and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Promoter or its agents or distributors
      • This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram or Twitter(X). Participants understand that Participants are providing information to the Promoters and not to Facebook, Instagram or Twitter (X). The information Participants provide will be used for promotional communications for future Competitions should Participants opt in for future contact.
      • The laws of the Republic of South Africa govern these terms and conditions and Participants agree to exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts in any matter arising from these terms and conditions.
